Rev. Dan Damon
I began training for ordination during the Covid-19 pandemic after a long career in broadcasting. I spent a year training online and a year in full-time study at St. Padarn's, the Church in Wales training centre in Llandaff. I am very grateful that the Lord has given me this opportunity to serve the community in Llandogo and around Monmouthshire.
My Story
Dan's career as a broadcast journalist included working in Africa, the Middle East, the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. With his wife Siân he set up a news agency in Budapest Hungary in 1989, just as the Soviet Communist system was breaking down.
